The Postgraduate Committee will consider the admission of students with other qualifications.
Those students who have a foreign higher education degree could be admitted without having to validate their degrees, as long as they prove that they have sufficient training and officially recognized qualification, comparable to those Spanish graduate degrees that lead access to the above mentioned Master's Degree and that qualify and comply, according to the corresponding issuing university authorities, with the legal requirements for the access to postgraduate studies.
The Postgraduate Committee is the body responsible for the selection of students.
Two quotas will be established for the selection of applicants: one (with an allocation of, at least, 60% of places) for students who have graduated in the past five years and a second, reserved for those who are professionally active in the agro-alimentary sector and who graduated over five years ago.
The following criteria will be considered in the selection process: academic record; research experience; curriculum content related to biotechnology, nutrition, food science, food microbiology and food technology; links with research work developed in the Department and other merits.
