1ST International Summer Course on Advanced Nanotechnological Materials In Science And Industry
SUMMARY
The University of Burgos and the Dept. of Advanced Materials present the first edition of an international summer course, discussing advanced materials based on nanotechnology with a clear focus on industrial problems and potential solutions, but starting from the strong pillars of basic science.
The course will involve four workshops for the students, to learn the basis of characterization of nanomaterials using AFM/SPM or other techniques (i.e. X-ray diffraction), to propose innovative ideas in the field of nanotechnology or to learn how to model nanostructures (computer simulation) using a multiscale approach.
The students will participate in an open forum with industry delegates, to know about current nanotechnological problems with direct application to industry, and to discuss present and future solutions.
