The Center for the Advancement of the Rule of Law in the Americas (CAROLA) is a premier center for the study of Latin American law and policy in a wider hemispheric context. At CAROLA we have set out to provide a platform for critical, independent analysis of existing institutions, generate informed policy proposals about both substantive law and legal systems, and recommend practical reforms that have the potential of improving the lives of individuals, particularly those traditionally marginalized.
Qualifications:
- J.D. Degree
- At least 7+ years of experience working on law andpolicy issues in the Americas.
- Recognized expertise in one or more of the thematic areas of the Center.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative programs or research agenda.
- Significant experience in academic administration and fund raising.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish languages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
