Spanish for Helth Professionals
DESCRIPTION
This course is designed for students with a minimum level of “Spanish A” who need to use the Spanish language in the healthcare field. The course will cover basic thematic modules within the healthcare sector, essential for any health professional working with Spanish-speaking patients. Activities, tasks, and real-life scenarios will be developed using a communicative, task-based methodology, focusing on real-life situations in the healthcare world.
The course emphasizes the acquisition of specific medical terminology in authentic contexts, with special attention given to cultural aspects. The program also includes grammar lessons to support the participants’ overall language development. All four language skills—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—will be practiced and developed.
