Health systems analysis on the bases of Spanish case
DESCRIPTION
This course is designed to enable students to analyze different healthcare systems based on their core characteristics, identifying both commonalities and key differences in comparison with the Spanish Healthcare Model. To achieve this, various lectures, activities, and tasks will be conducted in the classrooms of the Faculty of Health Sciences, requiring the active participation of students. Whenever possible, simulated real-life case studies will be proposed.
To complement this theoretical and practical training, several visits will be organized to major healthcare institutions in the city of Burgos. During these visits, healthcare professionals will explain the main features of their work to the students. Notably, 7 undergraduate Nursing students from the University of Burgos will also participate in the course.
