Position: Assistant Professor for the Department of Criminology, Law and Society of the University of California, Irvine.
Description: We look for outstanding candidates in all fields, especially interested in candidates with research interests and experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Police
- Global challenges in criminology, law and society
- Technology, law and social control.
We also intend to deepen our departmental strengths in carrying out innovative research that addresses the problems of inequality and injustice in a variety of social and institutional environments, including within of those three substantive areas of interest.

Requirements: Candidates must have completed a Ph.D. in a field related to criminology or law and society. The position will begin on July 1, 2020 (teaching duties will begin in the fall of 2020).
