The University of Burgos has visited the Middle East (July 9th-12th, 2025)

The team from the University of Burgos' Commercial Pilot Degree in Passenger and Cargo Transport, in collaboration with the FlyBy aeronautical training school, travelled to the Middle East, specifically to the cities of Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Muscat (Oman) and Jeddah (Saudi Arabia).

The main objective of this trip was to promote this training programme and strengthen ties with some of the students who will be part of future cohorts of the degree programme. These types of trips are also very important for the degree programme, as they facilitate contact with airlines from different parts of the world, thereby improving job opportunities and career prospects for our students.

This Pilot Degree, which began three years ago, has experienced remarkable international expansion, becoming a benchmark option for young people from different regions of Asia interested in pursuing a career as commercial pilots. The high demand for aeronautical training and the growing need for professionals in the aviation sector have helped position the University of Burgos as a leading university in the field of education.

During the trip, the administrative team had the opportunity to participate in various conferences and meetings with prospective new students. In Muscat, they also met with the representative of the Spanish Embassy in Oman, Mr Javier de Istúriz. These conferences highlighted the academic excellence and international focus of the Commercial Pilot Degree and the University of Burgos.
