In the map above is shown the level of corruption in each European country. To measure the corruption of each country we have used a Corruption perceptions Index Score, in which, those countries that count with and index between 100 to 50 have less corruption, and those who have between 50 to 0 have less corruption. With this index we can appreciate that:
- The main countries with a Corruption index between 100 to 50 are: Spain, Portugal, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Ireland, United Kingdom (although it is no longer part of the European Union), Iceland, Luxembourg, Austria, Czechia, Poland, Slovenia, Croatia, Greece, Slovakia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
Between these countries we can appreciate that: Denmark, Finland and Norway are the less corrupted.
- The main countries with a Corruption index between 50 to 0 are: Russia, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania, North Macedonia, Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Bosnia y Herzegovina, Ukraine, Byelorussia, Turkey and Moldavia.
