Students’ pre-registration

The Hall of Residence offers full-board accommodation to students from the University of Burgos, professor and researcher staff and to other members of the Campus community, as for those who have any connection with the University itself or any other educational institution.

Documentation to be provided

  • Fill in the form: Pre-registration form
  • Print the document 
  • It has to be submitted with the applicant’s signature and when applicable, also with the applicant’s father or mother or legal representative signature to the General Registry of the University of Burgos in the Administration and Service Building, at 1, Don Juan de Austria St., post code 09001, Burgos, at the Ancillary Services of the University of Burgos, - Secretariats of the Centers, in the electronic headquarters of the same University (https://sede.ubu.es) or by any other of the established procedures pursuant to Article 16 of the Act 39/2015, of 1st October, of the Common Administration Procedures of the State Administrations.

The following documentation must be submitted together with the application form:

  • Photocopy of the identity card or passport.
  • A deposit of 180€ -in concept of place booking application, has to be paid to the Caixa Bank account nº ES94 2100 9168 6022 0002 5225, appearing the applicant’s name, the established amount and the following terms “RESERVA DE PLAZA DE RESIDENCIA CAMINO DE SANTIAGO”, and the bank from where it has been operated.
  • New residents should also have to submit a photocopy of the documentation of having passed the studies that give access to the University, or when applicable a photocopy of the Certification of the average rating, and if not a photocopy of the Higher Technical Certificate, and letter of acceptance of the University of Burgos.
  • Those applicants, who have not succeeded in the completion of the University Entrance Examination yet, will have to proceed once it has been achieved, submitting the photocopy of the Certification.
  • The applicants for the place, which are not for the whole year course, will be solved only if there are vacant rooms left.
  • APPLICANTS WHO FAIL TO MAKE THE PAYMENT NOR ATTACH THE PAYMENT RECEIPT, WILL HAVE TO REMAIN UNSOLVED.

Allocation Procedure 

The allocation of places for students will be settled through the following criteria: applicant’s academic achievement, the expected attitudes and behavior of the person involved in the life and activities of the Hall of Residence, and the seniority during the academic year previous to the enrolment of the University of Burgos. (Admitted students list will be on the webpage on 20th July 2023).

It will be taken into account the following criteria for new residents allocated: entrance examination registered mark for University. If you access by EBAU (BACCALAUREATE ASSESSMENT EXAMINATIONS FOR ADMISSION TO UNIVERSITY), it will only be taken into account its total mark.  Under no circumstance, it will be regarded the registered mark on the specific test, if this is chosen. (Preliminary list will be on 11th July 2024).

Applicant’s academic achievement in the previous year’s course, seniority, and the attitudes and behavior in the Center will be regarded for allocating single rooms and studio apartment. Updates of admitted students list will be on webpage of the University of Burgos, in succession and in accordance with the variations that may occur by renunciation or new admitted students, following the same criteria for the academic purpose alongside for the admission procedure. Once the year course has begun, and in the case if there were any vacancies, it would be the Hall of Residence itself in charge of filling the places.
