University of Burgos Mentoring Programme

This pilot programme, promoted by the Doctoral School and the OTRI-OTC within the framework of the HRS4R strategy, aims to support predoctoral researchers (from the third year of doctoral studies) and postdoctoral researchers (up to two years after their thesis defence) in planning their professional careers.

Through a network of mentors with experience in various fields — academic, business, institutional, and others — the programme facilitates direct contact with professionals who share their career paths and perspectives on possible professional opportunities, both within and beyond the university environment.

The mentoring process is organised through annual calls and includes regular meetings between mentors and mentees, providing a space for guidance, exchange of experiences, and reflection on professional development.
