Project outcomes

The creation of an “spin-off” has been established as a result of the exploitation plan within ICARUS-INAS, materialising the idea from the proposal into a business model in the form of a consultancy company. The company will be conceived to assess organisations in services related with the product certification, carbon footprint, safe and sustainability-by-design approaches and sustainability assessment along the product/process life cycle. The overview of the different services to be provided are gathered in the following scheme:

These services will be offered individual or combined, depending on customer’s needs. The integrated service for clients interested in the identification of toxicology results in the Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment is currently in a low TRL. The assessment in both topics is ready to be offered, however, the transformation of the toxicology results into LCSA results will be developed during the first 3 years, as the creation of the company is the exploitation strategy to fund the development of the CF that will make possible the complete integration.
