CIDER (by its acronym in Spanish - International Research Center in Rural Development) focuses on the analysis of different topics related to the Rural Pact and the Rural Action Plan: social innovation, digital connectivity, diversification of economic activities and social and environmental resilience, among others.
- Lost Millenials: The Lost Millennials project, funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway through the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment, focuses on a commonly neglected target group of the generation of Millennials: Young people aged between 25 and 29 years, who are out of employment or education and training (NEETs), live in small towns in rural areas and face multiple barriers to their inclusion in labour market.
