Description

ELEVATE-WISE aims to increase female students' interest in STEM careers and reduce their drop-out rate in these fields. The consortium, consisting of 6 partners from Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa, will work to achieve several outcomes, including a needs assessment of universities in Côte d'Ivoire and Cape Verde, a mentoring and training programme for women in STEM, an educational handbook to facilitate STEM learning in diverse contexts, and an information platform. In addition, an online course will be created to empower STEAM mentors, helping them to become effective trainers, and a handbook of good practices for service-based learning. The project will adopt a practical methodology to enable students to solve real problems, especially in Côte d'Ivoire and Cape Verde.
