Description

NAT-CARE will develop a specialized Green Prescription training program for nurses and health care professionals, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and a Toolkit to integrate nature-based activities and interventions into patient care. The program will focus on evidence-based applications of greencare, promoting preventive healthcare, sustainability, and patient-centered care.

The project aligns with EU health and environmental strategies, including the EU Green Deal, the WHO One Health approach, and Erasmus+ priorities in vocational education and training (VET). In addition, the partners will tailor the training program to align with the ES micro-credentials and national Continuous Health Training frameworks and actively engage within its parameters. The project seeks to enhance nurses’ skills and competencies in environmental health strategies, improving healthcare system sustainability, and advancing holistic patient care.
