Erasmus Mundus programme launches 30 annual grants for foreign language learning

The initiative is part of TELME project, in which collaborates University of Burgos

ERASMUS MUNDUS Joint Master TELME project has already opened its call for annual grants. The deadline for submitting applications will be open until January 20th 2026 through this link.

TELME Joint Master, led by the University of Rennes 2, in France, in collaboration with University of Burgos, Åbo Akademi University (Finland), Adam Mickiewicz University (Poland) and University of Limerick (Ireland), is a high-quality international study program designed to promote excellence in education and research through international cooperation, intercultural understanding and development of global skills. This is the second program of these characteristics launched in Castilla y León since, until now, there was only one Erasmus Mundus master's degree in force in the community, managed by University of León.

TELME programme is focused on teaching, designing and management of foreign language learning for a multicultural and inclusive environment and, through funding of more than 3 million euros from the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), it launches a call  for 30 annual grants aimed to students in the field of language teaching, curriculum development, educational technologies, intercultural communication and other language-related qualifications.

The programme lasts two years, in which students will offer high-quality multilingual training in the field of language teaching with the opportunity to study at one or more of the consortium's partner universities.
