Objectives

The main objective of NANOCOMP is to increase the understanding on complex MCNMs and HARNs behaviour and to establish new structure–property–function and structure–property–hazard relationships through physicochemical hazard and exposure assessment, and modelling activities, enabling the adaptation of Risk Assessment and Risk Management work being developed (strategies and standard recommendations and tools), simultaneously making it available for industry, and  guide the rational design of safer MCNMs and HARNs.
