Libraries

The University has five university libraries, one in each faculty or school, with a central library located in the San Amaro campus, inaugurated in 1998, equipped with the most up-to-date technology for consultation and research in electronic publications.

The facilities of the UBU library are open to any member of the university who wishes to use them. For the majority of consultations, a library user's card is not required. Borrowing of books does however require this card. Two books can be taken out at a time for a period of one week, renewable up to four times if the books are presented each time

Erasmus students and students coming through other exchange programes may also obtain their library card. This card can be requested at the front desk on the first floor of the Central Library or at their Faculty´s library with their identity card and a photograph
