Description: The Department of Criminal Justice at WSU invites applications for a 9-month tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin July 1, 2020. Salary and benefits are competitive (retirement program is entirely contributed by WSU at the rate of 14.2% of your annual gross earnings).
Required Qualifications: Applicants must have a PhD or advanced ABD in Criminal Justice, Criminology or related field (J.D. only applicants will not be accepted). All areas of specialization will be considered. A record of excellence in teaching, a record of scholarship and/or a promising research agenda, and a commitment to service are also required.
Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates who specialize in juvenile corrections, juvenile law, reentry, crime analytics, and/or intelligence-led policing.
