The San Diego State University in California (USA) is looking for a faculty member at the assistant professor level with evidence of an agenda of research publications for the fall of 2020.
Although the area of specialization is open, the Criminal Justice (CJ) program seeks to hire a collaborating and open academic to create synergies with our faculty of criminology and criminal justice, youth and adults). Incarceration and other forms of punishment, re-entry of prisoners, community supervision and law enforcement. Public relations, political science, public health, psychology, public administration, social work and sociology. This situation requires the experience to teach courses in at least two of the following areas: restorative justice, corrections, community supervision, law enforcement, law and society, and research methods.
Applicants must have a doctorate in criminal justice or a related field before the date of the appointment. In addition, we have to demonstrate the evidence of research publications, and the potential for program development and the ability to write grants, with a clear leadership potential in each of these areas as an asset.
