ATTEND THE ORIENTATION SESSION FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS (MANDATORY)
Orientation and general information for Erasmus and other exchange students are given during the orientation sessions organized once or twice every semester (in September and in January)
Dates of the orientation sessions for international students
Orientation takes places at San Amaro campus. Bus lines no. 5, 7, 12, 22, C1 or C2, take you from the city center to campus. You can get on this bus at several stops, for example:
-calle Vitoria, 7 (accross the ZARA store)
-Santa María Bridge (next to the bridge, across the "Arco de Santa María")
Buses run approximately every 20 minutes
Here you will receive orientation about university, the Spanish university and degree system, the name and contact information of the departmental coordinator in Burgos, practical information, contact numbers for accommodation and legal orientation (unofficial). It is each student's responsibility to attend at least one of the programmed orientation sessions.
REGISTRATION FOR COURSES (MATRÍCULA)
Detailed information on registration procedures and enrolment appointments will be fully provided to international students during the mandatory orientation sessions.
Please bear in mind that the University of Burgos cannot fully guarantee that students can finally register for the subjects they listed on their learning agreements (due to timetable changes or unexpected academic rearrangements). It is strongly advisable to take alternatives into account in case some first-option courses are not available.
Registration for courses at UBU is free of charge for all Erasmus students except for the 1.12 € for students under 28. This also applies to other international students nominated for student exchange whenever a tuition-waiver program has been agreed upon with their home university.
