Description

The main objective of the proposal is, in response to the challenge issued by the European Commission for this call , to design and develop new free magnetic compounds of critical raw materials ( CRMs ) to be used for the permanent magnets of high energy used currently in motors, generators , apparatus for magnetic resonance , etc ...

NOVAMAG will involve the major European, American and Japanese experts in magnetism. While it will combine more advanced  synthesis tools to materialize and create new compounds exhibiting a permanent magnetization and physical characteristics that allow its use in highly demanding applications such as the motor of an electric car , a generator or an apparatus for magnetic resonance imaging in medicine.
