AR-STEAMapp addresses the challenges of improving the teaching of STEAM disciplines in the 12-16 age group, designing an innovative way to establish connections between these disciplines in a meaningful and viable way with the educational context. GREENER proposes the development of green, sustainable, efficient, and low-cost solutions for soil/sediment and water bioremediation, by integrating several remediation strategies with innovative bio-electrochemical technologies. The project will effectively accelerate the remediation time of a range of organic and inorganic pollutants of high concern, while producing useful end-products, such as bioelectricity and/or harmless metabolites of industrial interest. SELFIE
The radically innovative potential of SeLFiE is its ability to integrate the Scientific language – which is simpler and easier to understand than the literary language, and rich in liferelated and practical lexicon – and the CLIL framework in ages between 4 and 12. It also gives continuity along the whole compulsory education maintaining the consistency of the learning and teaching processes. SBVI
The project STEAM in the secondary school with no barriers for blind and visually impaired pupils, has been created to generate in Spanish schools, including the partner university, inclusive classrooms with a diversity of students with different profiles, especially students with visual impairments. The school partnership includes three schools specialized in this student profile, the collaboration and exchange of practices will serve to generate experiential classrooms within technical subjects such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics and arts (STEAM), subjects that have often been cited as difficult for students with visual impairments. Lost Millennials
The Lost Millennials project, funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA and the Norwegian Grant Fund for Youth Employment, focuses on a commonly neglected target group of the Millennial generation: young people between the ages of 25 and 29, who are out of employment or education and training (NEETs), live in small towns in rural areas and face multiple barriers to their inclusion in the labor market. LIFE REPOLYUSE
The LIFE REPOLYUSE project’s main objective is to increase the reuse of polyurethane waste that is currently managed as inert waste or is recovered through techniques that are not environmentally sustainable. Specifically, more than 3.5 million tonnes of polyurethane are used in Europe each year, which generates some 675,000 tonnes/year of polyurethane waste. The CoLLaboratE project will build upon state-of-the-art methods for teaching the robot assembly tasks using human demonstration, extending them to facilitate genuine human-robot collaboration.
