Description
The DigiFab consortium will develop a digitised renovation process involving prefabricated modules with efficient technologies to achieve near-zero energy buildings (NZEB), reducing costs and installation times by 30%. It uses a BIM-based approach to optimise design, automate energy and structural analysis, and manufacture modules with sustainable materials. Installation takes 2 days per unit, with precise site control through laser scanning and waste management. Three demonstration sites in Spain, Austria and Greece will showcase its benefits.
