Description

Project aims to embed environmental, ecological and climate issues into language teaching, enhancing educators' capabilities and student engagement through digital tools and gamification. Objectives include integrating environmental topics into curriculum,, empowering teachers with resources and training, and developing key competencies in students.

Results will comprise an EcoLingua Toolkit, educational modules, a gamified activities pack, a needs analysis report, and video lessons.

In the project, there will be 2 Transnational Project Management meetings, and 2 project events in each work package. The project does not include any LTT activities. The experts and teachers will come together to work on the project outputs, analyze the process and plan the further steps. Each project activity will be supported by blender activities particularly as pre-meetings for preparation and post activities to evaluate and finalize the contents.

The concrete results include; a toolkit for Teachers, resources for integrating climate issues into language lessons, including digital tools and gamification strategies, educational modules on environmental issues for language learning, designed for curriculum integration, Interactive activities and games with a digital and environmental focus for language education, large scale analysis identifying gaps in language education on climate issues integration. applications and video lesson packs.
