Description
The Lost Millennials project, funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA and the Norwegian Grant Fund for Youth Employment, focuses on a commonly neglected target group of the Millennial generation: young people between the ages of 25 and 29, who are out of employment or education and training (NEETs), live in small towns in rural areas and face multiple barriers to their inclusion in the labor market.
The starting point of the working life of the target groups of the project was shortly after the economic crisis of 2008, which caused feelings of uncertainty and insecurity regarding job opportunities, affecting their well-being and leading them to inactivity or to the market. labor.
The main target group of the Lost Millennials project are researchers, experts in the field of assessments, youth employment or inclusion in the labor market, as well as professionals in government and civil society organizations, responsible for the implementation of assessment initiatives. of employment aimed at people over 25 years of age.
