TuRBO-SUDOE brings together 5 centers capable of offering knowledge on the one hand (4 universities - University of Burgos, University of Málaga, University of Aveiro and University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro) and an R & D center - Energylab -), and 3 business associations (1 Business Federation - FEDACOVA - and 2 business clusters - CAAR, Mecanic Vallée) - demanders of technology in 3 strategic sectors of the SUDOE space, such as agri-food, automotive and energy / ICT ). Completes KIMBcn consortium, global expert in training and technology transfer. All of them face a common challenge: to improve the processes of technological transfer with the purpose of facilitating the exploitation in the market of the knowledge generated in the SUDOE space, activating the participation of the private sector through the full alignment of the R & With business activities (demand).
The main objective is to act in this research-market interface and to make this transfer effective and sustainable through the design, validation and demonstration of a novel role that will act as a bridge between the two: Transference Broker (TB).
The innovative approach of the project lies in its demonstration in a real environment, as it will be developed on 3 strategic sectors for the SUDOE space and for the RIS3 strategies of the regions, also facilitating their replicability.
