The DigiFab consortium will develop a digitised renovation process involving prefabricated modules with efficient technologies to achieve near-zero energy buildings (NZEB), reducing costs and installation times by 30%. It uses a BIM-based approach to optimise design, automate energy and structural analysis, and manufacture modules with sustainable materials. Installation takes 2 days per unit, with precise site control through laser scanning and waste management. Three demonstration sites in Spain, Austria and Greece will showcase its benefits. BIOSYSMO will develop a computer-assisted framework to design and optimize synergistic biosystems that combine the necessary pathways and features to achieve the most efficient degradation and storage of contaminant mixtures. BIOSYSMO will leverage the high natural microbial diversity by analyzing samples from contaminated sites and areas affected by diffuse pollution to identify naturally occurring microorganisms that are already capable of metabolizing the target contaminants. The project WORLD aims to develop a virtuous green process for waste cooking oils (WCOs) recycling which applying a circular economy model. An innovative fast and zero-waste production of biolubricants from WCOs will be developed employing green and recyclable raw materials (water and natural bentonites). The wastewaters and the contaminated bentonites will be recycled in two independent sub-processes.
